Belgian designer Marie Michielssen, based in the creative heart of Antwerp, has carved a niche for herself with her unique approach to design that marries traditional materials with contemporary functionality. With a background in graphic design, Michielssen's journey into the world of interior and product design is marked by her preference for tactile, "old-style" materials, transforming them into modern-day heirlooms.
